Does the RX groove accept any prescription lens?

The groove is designed to hold a prescription lens in place. Confirm the prescription range and lens thickness with your optician before committing — the groove has practical limits.

Is this frame only for golf?

No. It works as a general driving and outdoor frame. Golf is the design intent — the lens width and the RX groove are what make it suited to it.
